Whether you're making the jump from GCSE to year 1 or the step up to year 2, A-level Biology can be difficult. There's a huge volume of factual information to remember, new terminology to learn and calculations to comprehend. On top of this you've got to be able to analyse, interpret and evaluate scientific procedures, and apply your knowledge to unfamiliar situations.

The new linear A-levels, coupled with the removal of AS exams in several sixth-form Colleges, means it is really important, but increasingly difficult to be thoroughly prepared for your finals.
